Anger
By Jesus Dominguez, MG4981

My sons ask me many questions about fashion, life, mankind, etc. and many of times, I get angry because a lot of it that is asked, I know the answers are learned by example. So me not being there to show them or tell them face to face is what angers me. I feel i failed them, and left them to fend for themselves. But my consistency with contact through mail and phone has allowed me to verbally give the tools needed for them to be 10 steps ahead of the game.
Realizing the things i have no control over and focusing on what control I do have has bridged a gap I was angry about. Its hard to forget the mistakes we wish we could do over, but there is no rewind button in life. So now all I know is each step I take a word spoked, I do with the mindset of tomorrow’s gift.
