I’m the monster in the closet

I’m the monster under the bed

I’m the monster in the mirror

So I’m the monster everywhere

You may seek but not find

You may listen but not hear

But you may not realize…

That the monster you seek is yourself

Author’s note:

I wrote this as I realized everyone was judging everyone based on their past mistakes or the reason a person is incarcerated for. However the only ones worthy to Judge is the ones who have never sinned nor broken any law. If a person ever Jaywalked they broke the law and is unworthy of judging anyone or if a person has ever hit another person is unworthy to Judge anyone. We need not to Judge another person before we look in the mirror before judging another person to see the monseter in the mirror before we start to Judge another for being a “monster.”
