The Environment That I Live In
By Joseph “Tim” Fiore, MH3796

In the beginning, I had nothing. I would try to consume everything. I would do everything in my power to have things. The environment that I come from is a hard environment. I would have to work for everything, because nothing is free. I try to make the best of it. When I get out of prison, I will have to enroll in, and participate in things like school…educational classes. What I try to consider is that everything is hard and complicated for me. When I try something, I get addicted to it.
The environment I come from is everything to me. I believe that someday this task will be over. This task is hard and consists of tests that I don’t understand or fully comprehend. I want to complete everything that is in this environment, and become proud of myself. I need to respect myself, and take care of myself in order to be a functional human being.
